Biography

He played for the Avangard / Zvezda team ( Lugansk / Voroshilovgrad ). Champion of the USSR and winner of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR 1967 (in the national team of the Ukrainian SSR), silver medalist of the All-Union Championship 1972, winner of the Cup of Cup Winners 袝袣袙 1973

In the USSR national team in official competitions he performed in 1967-1968. In its composition became the Olympic champion in 1968 and the European champion in 1967 .

After the end of his playing career, Vladimir Belyaev worked as a coach. In 1978, he led the Iskra women's volleyball team ( Voroshilovgrad ) to the USSR Championship silver medals.

In later years, he worked as a physical education teacher at secondary school No. 26 of Lugansk.
