In 1905 he graduated from the Moscow Military School , from where he was released as second lieutenant to the 2nd reserve railway battalion.
October 19, 1905 transferred to the 2nd Ussuri railway battalion [1] . It was promoted to commission on October 20, 1908 [2] . On August 9, 1910 he was transferred to the 2nd Siberian Railway Battalion [3] . He was promoted to headquarters captain on October 1, 1913 [4] .
He entered the First World War as part of the 2nd Siberian Railway Battalion. Since 1915, he commanded an armored train of the 9th railway battalion ( South-Western Front ). Granted by St. George's Arms
| For the fact that in the battle near the village of Kholupka on the night of June 11-12, 1915, commanding an armored train, he boldly advanced his train under destructive artillery and rifle fire behind enemy lines. Having opened artillery and machine-gun fire from the train, he prepared an attack on the infantry regiment and made confusion in the ranks of the enemy with his fire, enabled the regiment to occupy the enemy trenches almost without loss, and 6 officers and about 600 lower ranks were captured. |
He was promoted to captain on January 5, 1917 " for differences in matters against the enemy " [5] , to lieutenant colonel on September 17, 1917 [6] .
With the outbreak of the Civil War he joined the Volunteer Army , in December 1917 - commander of the Technical Company. He participated in the 1st Kuban campaign as part of the 1st engineering company, then - in the Don army . In 1918 he was renamed Colonel and promoted to Major General . In the same year he was appointed commander of the newly formed Don Railway Armored Brigade. In the spring of 1920, he was evacuated from Feodosia, in May 1920 - in Yugoslavia.
In exile in France. Died of a heart failure at Ambroise Hospital in Biancourt . Buried in a local cemetery. He was married, had two daughters.
