Bukhasheev, Alexander Grigorievich

Alexander G. Bukhasheev (born August 8, 1945 , Ussuriysk ) is a Soviet and Russian athletics coach . Master of Sports of the USSR (1968). Honored Trainer of the USSR (1980). Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation (2005).

Biography

Alexander Grigorievich Bukhasheev was born on August 8, 1945 in Ussuriysk. In 1961 he graduated from a vocational school with a degree in automobile mechanics. In 1965 he graduated from the Novosibirsk College of Physical Culture and Sports. In 1967 and 1969 he became the bronze medalist of the championships of the RSFSR. In 1974 he graduated from the correspondence department of the Omsk State Institute of Physical Culture [1] .

From 1966 to 1980 he worked as a senior lecturer at the Novosibirsk State Medical Institute . From 1980 to 1999, he was a senior coach at the Novosibirsk Higher Sports School. In 1996, he was an assistant professor of athletics and skiing at the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University [2] .

From 1992 to 2004 he was the head of the Athletics Federation of the Novosibirsk Region. From 2001 to 2013, he served as director of the regional sports training center "ShVSM" [3] [4] . From 2004 to 2012, he was a member of the Presidium of the All-Russian Athletics Federation.

He is currently Vice President of the Novosibirsk Regional Athletics Federation and head coach of the Novosibirsk Region Athletics Team [5] [6] [7] .

His most famous pupils are:

  • Victor Markin - two-time Olympic champion in 1980, the world champion in 1983 [8] [9] ,
  • Tatyana Alekseeva - world champion in 1991, indoor world champion in 1997 [10] .

Awards and titles

  • Honorary title " Honored Coach of the USSR " (1980).
  • Order of the Badge of Honor (1980) [11] .
  • The honorary title " Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation " (2005) [12] .
  • The badge of honor “For Merits in the Development of the Olympic Movement in Russia” (2005) [13] .
