Biography
Early years
Luen Gideon was born November 12, 1955 in Erath ( Texas , USA ). In 1978, she graduated from Baylor University in Waco , Texas, with a degree in oral communication (radio, television, film). In her first year of study, she was chosen the “Baylor Beauty”, although this title was rarely conferred on her first year students.
Career
Luen began her career as a jazz singer in Europe and Asia , before becoming an actress in the United States . Since 1985, Gideon has played in 36 films and television series. She was best known for the role of the antagonist Daniel Atron in the television series Nickelodeon "The Secret World of Alex Mac " (1994-1998). Also became the last actress who played Lisa Walton-Sentell in the long-running soap opera " In Search of Tomorrow " (1985-1986).
Last years of life and death
In 2006, Luen moved from Los Angeles to Asheville , North Carolina , where she settled in the mountains of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There she continued her career as a writer and theater actress, worked as a realtor inside the state.
In 2009, she successfully overcame breast cancer , and on November 11, 2011 (11/11/11) she married her longtime partner, retired executive director Walt Borchers. The ceremony took place on Lake Como, Italy , and was chaired by her close friend, actor Brian Cranston . Her cancer returned at the end of 2013 and she died surrounded by friends on February 3, 2014 at 11.11. (11:11) at the age of 58 [3] .
