History
The Izyumsky bakery plant was created in 1984 in accordance with the eleventh five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR [1] .
In 1987, a feed mill [1] was put into operation and KHP mastered the production of feed [2] .
After the independence of Ukraine, the plant was transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Ukraine .
In March 1995, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine included the plant in the list of enterprises whose privatization is prohibited due to their national importance [3] .
After the establishment of the state-owned joint-stock company “Bread of Ukraine” in August 1996, the plant became a subsidiary of SJSC “Bread of Ukraine” [4] .
In 2005, KHP processed 62.5 thousand tons of grain, in 2006 - 74 thousand tons of grain [5] .
After about 15 thousand chickens died at the Balakleyskoye Poultry Enterprise LLC poultry farm on July 16-24, 2007, the Kharkiv Regional Veterinary Inspectorate confirmed the toxicity of the Izyum KHP compound feed (in which alkaloids were found), the situation of KHP was complicated, 8 On November 2007, the Kharkiv Regional Commercial Court ruled to recover compensation from the KHP in favor of the poultry farm for damage incurred as a result of the delivery of poor-quality compound feed in the amount of 1.34 million hryvnias and compensation for non-received a profit of 1.61 million hryvnia [6] .
In March 2008, Viskhan Islamov, director of the Izyumy plant, said that not one Kiev institute was sent allegations of poor product quality and toxicity of compound feed KHP to which samples were sent to study the plant's products [5] .
Despite the economic crisis that began in 2008 , during the 2008-2009 marketing year, KHP processed 47 thousand tons of grain [7] .
On August 11, 2010, the plant became part of the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine [8] . At this time, 200 people worked at the enterprise [2] .
After the outbreak of hostilities in the Donbass in the spring of 2014, the Izyumsky KHP turned out to be the closest grain storage center in the rear of the Ukrainian troops, and in June 2014 a decision was made to export and store collected grain from the front-line zone at the Izyumsky KHP [9] .
In 2016, KHP procured 92.2 thousand tons of crops and produced 46.6 thousand tons of feed. As of the beginning of March 2017, the number of employees of the enterprise was 180 people [10] .
Current status
The main functions of the enterprise are the reception, storage and processing of grain crops ( wheat , corn and barley ), as well as oilseeds ( rapeseed and sunflower ) [1] . CCP is one of the places of storage of state grain reserves of Ukraine [11] .
The plant also produces granular and large-scale compound feeds [12] for poultry farms and livestock farms in the Kharkov region [13] .
The total working capacity of KHP is 44.3 thousand tons (including elevator storage - 20 thousand tons and storage - 24.3 thousand tons) [1] .
