Nechenlenni [1] [2] [3] ( lat. Nehalennia ) is a genus of equine-winged dragonflies from the family of arrows (Coenagrionidae). The name of the genus is given in honor of the pagan goddess of the Gauls of Nezhellenny [3] .

Most species live in the Americas, and only the beautiful nehaleniya ( Nehalennia speciosa ) in Eurasia [4] [2] . All representatives of the genus are distinguished by their small size and short wings with highly sparse venation [2] .
