Biography
He began writing stories at the age of seven. After high school, he graduated from Duke University in Durham , North Carolina , USA , where he studied Russian philology and language, theology, was a member of the fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha . A year later, he graduated from the martial arts seminar. Winner of the black belt in karate .
He moved to Los Angeles , where he took up literary work, began writing stories, novels and screenplays for films. In Hollywood I tried myself in singing and writing songs. For several months in a new place he managed to become a producer and screenwriter for Stephen J. Cannell Productions Stephen Kennel .
In both of these statuses, he began working on the short JJ Starbuck series with Dale Robertson, Sonny Spoon with Mario Van Peebles and Psycho Police with Don S. Davis.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he wrote scripts for television.
He is the author of 16 scenarios, as the director shot 5 films.
During a trip to Edinburgh, the American producer “met” the story of William Wallace , the legendary national hero who led the rebellion against English domination under King Edward Long-legged. After studying the material about the rebel, the script of the film “ Braveheart ” appeared. The work attracted the attention of Mel Gibson , who became the director and the main star of the biographical action. Randall's script was greeted by the praise of film critics, the delight of the audience. He made several films about the Second World War. He wrote a story about two pilots who are in love with one woman. The Disney film “ Pearl Harbor ” was taken down by director Michael Bay , while the main roles went to Ben Affleck , Josh Hartnett and Kate Beckinsale . R. Wallace is the author of seven novels published by The New York Times and words to the famous lyric soundtrack to the music of N. Glenny-Smith “Mansions of the Lord”, originally written for the film “ We were Soldiers ” and performed at the official funeral ceremony US President Ronald Reagan in 2004
In 2008, Wallace wrote several songs with the singer and songwriter Richard Marx . One of these songs , Flame In Your Fire, appeared in Marx's Emotional Remains album.
