"Loreto" ( Italian. Loreto ) is a station of the M1 and M2 lines of the Milan Metro . Underground station, located under the Piazzale Loreto in the north-east of the central part of Milan.

Content
History
The station was opened as part of the first line of the M1 line (from the Sesto Marelli station to the Lotto station) [1] on November 1, 1964 [2] .
On September 27, 1969, the first turn of the M2 line from the Kayatstso station to the Kashin Gobba station was launched, and from this day the Loreto station is a stopover between the two lines [3] [2] .
In 2008–2011, the station was updated at the station, its design was changed according to the design of the Neapolitan architect Cherubino Gambardella ( Italian Cherubino Gambardella ) [4] .
Features
The device of the Loreto station of the M1 line is similar to the device of almost all stations of the first stage: underground location with two paths - one for each direction and two lateral platforms. The station hall is located under Buenos Aires Avenue ( corso Buenos Aires ) between Loreto Square ( piazzale Loreto ) and Argentina Square ( piazza Argentina ).
The M2 line station also has two tracks with two side platforms. It is located under the street Stradivari ( via Stradivari ). The station complex includes a spacious mezzanine , built to ensure a comfortable transition between the lines [5] .
