Career
Pupil of Minsk water polo . Played as a goalkeeper. In 1967 he was invited to the junior team of the BSSR and to the Minsk SKIF (Petrel). A year later, he made his debut in the USSR championship. Three years later he was drafted into CSKA-Navy. Winner of the Champions Cup and European Super Cup as part of the Navy CSK.
Champion of the USSR (1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1983, 1984), silver (1972, 1973, 1974) and bronze (1979, 1981, 1982) medalist of the USSR championship .
World Champion 1975.
Participated in the 1976 Olympics .
Colonel He was awarded the medal of the Ministry of Defense of Russia “Admiral Gorshkov” (2007).
He died in Moscow in 2011. He was buried at the Perepechinsky cemetery in the Solnechnogorsk district.
Education
He graduated from the Belarusian Institute of Physical Culture (1974).
