Berezin, Alexander Iosifovich

Alexander Iosifovich Berezin ( 1896 - August 7, 1937 , Krasnodar ) - Soviet party leader, executive secretary of the Nikolaev Regional Committee of the Communist Party (B) U, 1st secretary of the Krasnodar city committee of the CPSU (b). Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) U in December 1925 - November 1927. Candidate for membership in the Central Committee of the Communist Party (B) U in November 1927 - June 1930.

Biography

Member of the RSDLP (b) since 1916 .

In April 1924—1926 - responsible secretary of the Nikolaev District Committee of the KP (b) U. Then - on responsible party work in the Central Committee of the KP (b) U.

In 1929–1930 - responsible secretary of the Atkarsky district committee of the CPSU (b) of the Lower Volga region.

From the beginning of the 1930s - Head of the Political Sector of the Azov-Black Sea Regional Land Administration.

Until 1937 - 1st Secretary of the Krasnodar City Committee of the CPSU (b) of the Azov-Black Sea Territory.

In 1937, arrested by the NKVD. Shot Posthumously rehabilitated.
