Biography
Born in a family of middle peasants . In 1948 he graduated from the pedagogical school in Mari-Bilyamor , in 1960 - Kazan Higher School of Economics [1] .
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1951 [2] .
In 1953-1956 - First Secretary of the Mari-Turek District Komsomol Committee. Since 1960, he has been working in the Orsha district committee of the CPSU as head of department, secretary. Since 1962 he became the first secretary.
Since 1962, he became secretary of the Patcom of the collective-farm state administration of Mari-Turek district, in 1965-1968 he held the post of first secretary of the CPSU district committee.
From 1968 he moved to the Mari regional committee of the CPSU as second secretary, from September 5, 1979 to January 16, 1981 - the first secretary of the regional committee.
He was a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Mari ASSR of the sixth (March 22, 1963 - March 31, 1967), seventh (March 31, 1967 - July 5, 1971) and tenth (March 20, 1980 - March 21, 1985) convocations [3] . In 1971-1985 - Member of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR .
