At the beginning of the 1990s, 88% of the capital was owned by the president of the publishing house - the general director F. Esmanard, as well as his two brothers. In addition to fiction, he also publishes children's, educational, scientific, technical and medical, comics , art publications, practical guides, books on religion, social sciences and humanities. Among the series produced by the publishing house are French novels, Literature, Foreign novels, and others. It also issues a number of periodicals similar to Roman-Gazeta . According to 1998 data, the company had an agreement with a joint venture with Canal Plus ( Canal + ) - Canal Plus Edition (CANAL + Editions), specializing in the publication of books on telecasts. Also, agreements were concluded with three more small enterprises that produced historical books based on archival materials. The publishing house, as of 1998, owned 50% of the capital of the book club Grand Livre du Moy . The total release of the publishing house, as of 1998, was 550 publications per year; the catalog included about 7.5 thousand names [1] .
