Mohammedabad-Afshar ( Persian محمدآباد افشار ) is a village in the north of Iran , in the Alborz island . It is part of the shahrestan Savodzhbolag . It is part of the Dehestan (rural district) Ramjin Bakhsh Chekharbag.

Geography
The village is located in the southern part of Alborza, south of the Elburs Range, about 10 kilometers west of Keredzh , the provincial capital. The absolute height is 1276 meters above sea level [1] .
Population
According to the 2006 census, the village population was 466 people (249 men and 217 women). There were 109 families in Mohammedabad Afshar. The literacy rate of the population was 53.43%. The literacy rate among men was 57.43%, among women - 48.85% [2] .
