Biography

Boris Alekseevich Klyuzhev was born on December 19, 1946 in Lipetsk [2] . He began to do athletics at the sports school "Eaglet".

Since 1969, has been conducting coaching activities [3] . In 1971, he graduated from the P. F. Lesgaft Leningrad Institute of Physical Culture and Sports , and returned to his native Lipetsk to continue his coaching career.

Boris Alekseevich worked as a trainer and teacher at school № 5 in Lipetsk and was a senior coach of the team of the Lipetsk region in athletics [4] [5] .

He prepared a number of outstanding athletes, including:

  • Natalya Roshchupkina - participant of the 2000 Olympics, winner of the 2001 Goodwill Games in 2001, European champion among youth in 1999 [6] [7] ;
  • Yuri Rybin - multiple champion of Russia [8] ;
  • Vladimir Shopin - winner of the USSR championship among youth in javelin throwing;
  • Andrey Efremov - champion of Europe among juniors of 2015;
  • Denis Ogarkov - champion of Russia in 2016 [9] ;
  • Sergey Timshin - champion of Russia in 2015;
  • Marina Kozaderova (Ovsyannikova) - prize-winner of the Spartakiad of the peoples of the USSR;
  • Marina Pronina - repeated winner of the championships of Russia;
  • Oleg Semenov - record holder of Russia among young men in decathlon since 1984.

Married to the former all-around Lydia Andreevna Filatova.

Awards and titles

  • Honorary title “ Honored Coach of Russia ”.
  • The badge of honor of the regional department of physical culture, sports and tourism "For the development of physical culture and sports in the Lipetsk region."
  • Sports judge of the all-Russian category (2017) [10] .
