Geography
The village is located on the left bank of the Iset River , 6 kilometers (7.5 km by road) west of the district center of Kataysk and 203 kilometers (228 km along the road) north-west of the regional center of Kurgan .

History
In 1834, the village of Shevelev entered the Katai volost of the Kamyshlovsky district of the Perm province [3] .
In July 1918, the White Guard power was established. In July 1919, Soviet power was restored.
In 1919, the Trinity Village Council was formed, which included the village. February 12, 1944 abolished, the village entered Ushakovskiy village council .
During the years of Soviet power, the inhabitants worked on the collective farm "Testaments of Lenin".
Chapel
Approximately between 1876 and 1900, a chapel was built. Today, the building of the chapel is partially preserved [4] .

Infrastructure
At 2 kilometers to the north, there is the Kolchedansky tract - part of the P354 highway (Yekaterinburg - Kurgan). There is no automobile bridge over the Iset river in the village.
