Syzgi is a village in the Krasnoufimsky District of the Sverdlovsk Region . It is a member of the Syzginsky village council [2] .

Content
History
The village is the oldest settlement of the district, founded in the middle of the XVII century by the Bashkirs of the Syzgi clan before the construction of the Krasnoufim fortress [3] [4] [5] . First mentioned in 1760 [6] . It was part of the Syzgin volost of the Siberian road . Later it became part of the Krasnoufimsky district of the Perm province , since 1919 as part of the Kushchinsky canton (since 1922 - the Mesyagutovsky canton ) of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . In 1923 it was transferred to the Yekaterinburg province .
Residents of the village of Syzgi founded the villages of Ozerki and Ust-Bugalysh [5] .
Geography
The village is located on both banks of the Yuva River, 20 kilometers southeast of the administrative center of the district - the city of Krasnoufimsk [3] .

Population
In 1834, 235 Bashkirs and 40 teppes lived in the village, in 1859 - 410 Bashkirs and 46 teppes, in 1863 - 410 Bashkirs 46 teppers [8] .
In 1920, 1,086 people lived in 187 yards, including 936 Bashkirs in 156 yards, 136 Tatars in 28 yards, 8 tepters in 2 yards, and Russians in 1 yard [5] .
