Dabenken ( Chinese 大 坌 坑 文化 ) is the Neolithic culture of Taiwan, which existed in the V-IV millennium BC. Its speakers are associated with the ancestral home of the Austronesian languages . The basis of the economy of this culture was hoe farming (cultivation of taro , chumiza and rice) and fishing. Carriers kept the dogs. The tools were made of stone and shells, and ceramics (pots) are also found. Specific shark necklaces were discovered. Indirect evidence of tapas is found . Dabenken replaced the earlier Changbin culture, but is not genetically related. The origins of this culture are found in mainland China.
