Biography
Club career
He played in the Czechoslovak Championship for Poldi Kladno from 1961 to 1978, after which he played for Landshut in Germany in 1978–79. In 1971 and 1972 he was recognized as the best player in Czechoslovakia ( Golden Club). As part of Kladno, he spent 17 seasons (622 matches, 134 goals). Four-time champion of Czechoslovakia (1975–78), two-time bronze medalist of the championship of Czechoslovakia (1971–72). Winner of the 1977 European Cup .
Czechoslovakia team
In the Czechoslovakian national team, Pospishil played in 1967 - 1977 (262 matches, 25 goals). In its composition, he won gold medals at the World Championships of 1972, 1976 and 1977, four-time silver (1968, 1971, 1974 and 1975) and three-time bronze (1969, 1970 and 1973) medalist of the world championships. He was recognized as the best defender of the tournament in 1972 and 1976. He played at the Olympic Games 1968 (silver), 1972 (bronze) and 1976 (silver), and at the Canada Cup 1976 (tournament finalist).
Coaching career
I started coaching a career in Czechoslovakia in 1979, first with my old team, Poldi Kladno , in 1979-1983 (champion of Czechoslovakia 1980, silver medalist of the Czechoslovak League in 1982, bronze in 1981), and in 1983-85 - “ Chemopetrol Litvinov . " In 1986, he was an assistant to the head coach of the Czechoslovak team Jan Starshi.
