Mylagaulidae (lat.) - a family of extinct mammals from the order of rodents . Known from the Neogene of North America and China [1] . The oldest representative is Trilaccogaulus montanensis from the Upper Oligocene (about 29 million years ago), and the youngest Ceratogaulus hatcheri was found in Pliocene deposits (5 million ago) [2] .
