Milium (from the Latin “millet grain”, “millet”) is a white eel , which is formed as a result of excess activity of the sebaceous glands . Primary as well as clinical milia differ. Primary miliums arise spontaneously and can be the result of exposure, for example, to ultraviolet rays. Secondary milia appear after inflammatory or traumatic skin lesions, in scars.
