Elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Penza Region (2017)

Elections of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza Region of the sixth convocation took place in the Penza Region on September 10, 2017 on a single voting day . Elections were held by a mixed electoral system : out of 36 deputies, 18 were elected according to party lists ( proportional system ), the remaining 18 - in single-member constituencies ( majority system ). To get into the Legislative Assembly through the proportional system, the parties must overcome the 5% barrier . The term of the sixth convocation legislative assembly is five years.
