Monument to Ivan Franko ( Ukrainian Monument to Ivan Franko ) - a monument erected in honor of the Ukrainian writer, scientist and publicist Ivan Franko in the city of Severodonetsk, Luhansk region of Ukraine .

The I. Franko monument for Severodonetsk was made at the Mytishchi art casting plant and was installed in 1956, on the anniversary of the poet’s centenary at the Club of Chemists (currently the Severodonetsk city drama theater) [1] [2] .
A monument was erected in the square, where locals and visitors alike like to spend time. The bust rises on a granite pedestal on which the inscription appears: " Ivan Franco 1856-1916." Spruce and birch trees are planted around the monument, the area around the monument is lined with concrete tiles and a border [2] .

Description
The forms of the architectural site emphasize the severity of the monument itself. A pensive expression on his face, as Kotsyubynsky spoke of him, “is a strong stubborn nature that has completely emerged from everyday battle” [1] .

The portrait shows modesty and spiritual power of a fiery fighter, gentleness and refinement, his talent and an excited soul, doubt and hope. The desire to sharpen the individual characteristics of the portrait is combined with the desire to raise, elevate the image. The finely crafted face reflected the characteristic signs of time, carrying with it the active, personifying the effective power of history - on the other - compassionate sensitivity. Balanced calm readiness for acceptance of life tests. The poet’s special spiritual aspirations are transmitted successfully, but the dynamic impulse, energy are not expressed explicitly: impulse and confusion [1] .
The monument blends in well with the old part of the city of Severodonetsk, in the greenery of the square, but is perceived in many ways in contrast to the architecture of the theater building. The forms of the architectural site emphasize the severity of the monument itself [1] .
