Career
Taylor Sander was born in California , later entered Brigham Young University , where he played as part of the Cougars University team and in 2014 was recognized as the best player in the American student league [1] .
In 2014, Sander moved to Italy, where he signed a contract with the club Calcedonia from Verona. In 2016, as part of the Italians, he won the Challenge Cup , defeating the Fakel from Novy Urengoy in the final. Then he played for a short time in the championships of China and Qatar, as part of Al-Arabi , he became the champion of Qatar. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Italian club Kucine-Loubet .
In the national team, Sander made his debut in 2012. In 2014, he helped the Americans win the World League , following which he entered the symbolic team, received a prize for the most valuable player, and also showed the best percentage in attacking actions. In the same year he played in the American team at the World Cup , but there he did not show the same outstanding game, and his team was left without medals, taking seventh place.
In 2015, Sander won the second World League medal, this time becoming a bronze medalist.
At the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016, Taylor was the team’s main player and helped his team win bronze medals. Following the results of the tournament, Sander entered the top three best serveers, and also showed the best result at the reception among all participants in the volleyball tournament.
