Story

Homeless street musician James Bowen (performed by Luke Treadaway ) is trying to equip his life and get rid of drug addiction. In this he is helped by social worker Val (performed by Joan Froggatt ), who has secured social housing for him. One day, James discovers a red cat in his kitchen. At first, James tries to find his masters, but to no avail; getting rid of the cat also fails, as he constantly returns to James. One day, James discovers an infected wound in a cat and carries it to a charity veterinary clinic; James has to spend almost his entire meager budget to buy the right medicine, but taking care of the cat changes James internally and decides to stop methadone treatment . A cute and smart cat unexpectedly helps James in his earnings (they become popular with the London public), and also brings him to the girl Betty (played by Ruta Gedmintas ), between whom a romantic relationship is struck up with James. At the end of the film, James also arranges a relationship with his father.
