Biography
He graduated from the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports, Youth and Tourism in 1972. In 1973 he switched to coaching. In 1974-1982 he was at the Komsomol-party work. In 1982-2003, he worked as the head boxing coach of the Dynamo CS. In 2003, he was fired from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the reserve with the rank of lieutenant colonel . Since 2004, he was an adviser to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow. In 1993-1994 and in 1999-2002 he was vice-president of the Boxing Federation of Russia. In 2002-2003 he worked as Secretary General of the Boxing Federation of Russia. In 2008-2012, he served as First Vice President of the Dynamo All-Russian Central Boxing Club. He stood at the origins of the development of women's boxing in Russia. He was awarded the sign "Honorary Dynamo" (1997).
