Pointe du Lac ( French Pointe du Lac , in some sources - Creteil - Pointe du Lac ) - the terminal station of line 8 of the Paris Metro , located in the southern part of Creteil . It is named after the quarter of the same name in which it is located. The southernmost and easternmost station of the Paris Metro ( not RER ).

Content
History
- The station opened on October 8, 2011 with the extension of line 8 to one stage from the Creteil - Prefecture station . The length of the new section of the line was 1.3 km. [2] . The station construction project was approved by STIF on September 20, 2006, and construction began on March 5, 2007. [3] [4] . The length of the platforms was 80 meters, the width was 8.2 m. The cost of building the station and the new haul was about 83 million euros [5] . By the opening of the station, bus route No. 393 was changed, running from RER A Susie-Bonnel station to Creteil-Pompadour station on the RER D line.
- According to the RATP , for the first three months of operation in 2011, the passenger flow of the station amounted to 389,235 [6] . In 2012, the formed passenger flow amounted to 2177224 people [7] , and in 2015 it increased to 2595126 passengers (205th place in terms of the incoming passenger flow in the Paris metro) [8]
Track Development
The station consists of three routes: the western route near the side platform is for disembarking passengers, the other two near the island platform are for landing. On the south side of the station there is a path for train traffic and a service branch in the atelier de Creteil .
