History

The Mozolev exhibition of the Klimantovsky Kolbezhsky churchyard is mentioned in the census of 1710 [2] .

The village of Mozolova is indicated on the map of the St. Petersburg province of 1792, A. M. Wilbrecht [3] .

At the end of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Bolshegorsky volost of the 3rd zemsky section of the 1st camp of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province .

At the beginning of the XX century, 200 fathoms from the graveyard were a reaper , 140 steps long and 70 steps wide, a total of 26 graves. There are 4 stone crosses on the reaper [5] .

According to the map of the Novgorod province of 1913, the village was called Mozalevo [7] .

According to 1933, the village was called Mazolevo and was the administrative center of the Mozolevo village council of the Dregelsky district of the Leningrad region, which included 20 settlements: the villages of Bolshoi Zapolye, Bolshoy Pareevo, Golovinskaya, Drachilovo, Zhilnaya Glina, Maloye Zapolye, Moschenka, Pekhovo, Pleso, Podklinye, Pupovo, Empty Clay, Rudnaya Gorka, Tabasha, Fominskoye, Yaryshevo, Yartsevo, the village of Mazolevo, the farm Levin Log and the settlement of Tabkovo with a total population of 2101 people [8] .

According to 1936, the Mozolevsky Village Council included 13 settlements, 370 households and 8 collective farms [9] .

Since July 5, 1944, the Dregel district was part of the Novgorod region .

On July 5, 1956, by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR No. 713/2, the Mozolevsky Village Council was transferred from the Dregelsky District of the Novgorod Region to the Boksitogorsky District of the Leningrad Region [10] .

According to data from 1966 and 1973, the village was called Mozolevo-1 and was also the administrative center of the Mozolevo village council [11] [12] .

According to 1990, the village of Mozolevo-1 was the administrative center of the Mozolevo village council, which included 13 settlements, with a total population of 941 people, 687 people lived in the village [13] .

In 1997, 598 people lived in the village of Mozolevo-1, the administrative center of the Mozolevo volost, in 2002 - 479 people (Russian - 95%) [14] [15] .

In 2007, 540 people lived in the village of Mozolevo-1 of the Borsky joint venture , in 2010 - 505 [16] [17] .

The village is located in the southwestern part of the district on the highway 41K-034 ( Pikalyovo - Strugi - Kolbeki ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 24 km [16] .

The river Lininka flows through the village.

In 2017, 181 households were registered in the village [18] .

Attractions

The stone church in the name of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. It was built in 1802 on the site of a wooden one, which existed since 1672. The temple had a chapel of St. Mitrofan of Voronezh. The building was rebuilt as a residential building [19] .
