Oktyabrsky district - one of the three districts of the city of Orsk, Orenburg region .

Located on the right bank of the Ural River in the north-eastern and western parts of the city. The main part of the district is located in Europe . In Asia (on the left bank of the Urals ) there is the village of Janatalap and part of the garden plots.
It includes a number of villages within the city: the northern, southern and western parts of the New City, the village of Yelshanka, the village of Pobeda, the village of Krutorozhino, the village of the CHP, the village of Mostostroy, the village of Janatalap and the Gorge station. The Oktyabrsky district is also subordinate to 1 rural settlement, Mirny village, which is part of the municipality of Orsk with the status of an urban district and is located 75 kilometers north of Orsk on the right bank of the Ural River on the Iriklinsk reservoir .

History
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR No. 5-88 / 4 of March 31, 1972, 3 districts were formed in the city of Orsk, including the Oktyabrsky district.

Transport
There is one railway station: st. Krutorozhino YuUZHD.
Two oil pipelines with a diameter of 500 mm from Kinkiyak (Kazakhstan) and Salavat (Bashkiria), 37 km long, pass through the territory of the district; from the north-west direction there is an input of the main gas pipeline with a diameter of 300-500 mm with a length of 20 km.
Three main highways in the direction of Novotroitsk, Orenburg, and Guy also pass through the territory of the district for exit and entry. [14]
