Wimbledon 2017 - the 131st rally of the annual professional tennis tournament Grand Slam , held in Wimbledon ( London , UK ) on the courts of the local "All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club" . Traditionally, the winners of the competition were identified in nine categories: in five - in adults and four - in senior juniors .

The sowing of tennis players was determined by their performance on the grass courts using the following formula:
• Points as of June 26, 2017;
• 100% of points earned on grass in 2017;
• 75% of points earned on the best grass tournaments in the period from June 25, 2015 to June 25, 2016.
Position and points are determined by rating July 3, 2017. Due to the start of the tournament one week later than last year, the number of points defended by players includes those that tennis players earned at competitions in Båstad, Hamburg and Newport.
Rating points after the tournament are shown in the table opposite the player’s name and surname.

- For the first time since 1953, the final match of the Wimbledon tournament recorded by 6-0 6-0.
- For the first time in their career, Zhan Haoqing and Monica Niculescu reach the decisive stage in the Grand Slam tournament.
- Niculescu is inferior to the 1st doubles finals of the season and 15th in a career on tour of the association, Zhan is inferior to the 3rd doubles finals in a season and 11th of his career in a tour.

- For Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis, this title became the second in a career, won in the British "major" in this category.
