Geography

The village is located on the northern shore of the Yeruslan Bay of the Volgograd Reservoir [2] 31 km south-west of the district center of the village of Staraya Poltavka .

Initially, the village was located on the left bank of the Yeruslan River [3] , during the construction of the Volgograd reservoir it was moved to a new place.
