Soon after the release of the single, the group “Nogu Svelo!” Was recognized as having a bad influence on the youth.

The biggest response was the song and the single as a whole received in the television program “ Listening to the case ”, aired on June 17, 2001 at 18:00 Moscow time on the TVC channel. The reason for such a significant attention to the song is that the word “prick” occurs 51 times ^[1] .

The collective “Leg Svelo!” Was sued by the head of the children's folk ensemble “Igranchiki”. In the program "Listening to the case," the jury had to establish whether the song is affecting the youth in a bad way and whether it is necessary to impose a ban on its public reproduction.

The group leader, Maxim Pokrovsky, did not in the least doubt the positive outcome of the case, so Ksenia Strizh and Nike Borzov , not the lawyers, provided protection to the group. The main argument for protection was that the mat is an integral part of the culture of the Russian people and of the Russian language itself. But the charges raised the question of morality and ethics . The result of this case was the recognition of the bad influence on the youth and the restriction of the spread of the single, which was allowed to be sold only with a mark about the presence of profanity.

In the mid-2000s, new, already censored versions of “Matt Song” were released: in one of them, a threefold chant of a three-letter word was replaced by the word “Aria”, after the name of one of the competitive rock bands. There was also a single release with a full zapichivaniem sound track in the field of sound of the word.
