Life Story
Was born in. Jiangdu (present-day Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province). From the age of 10 he enrolled as a student at the famous artist Lan Inu . After training, he moved to Beijing in 1681 , where he gained fame as a talented portrait painter. He receives an order from members of the imperial family, officials, and rich people. Later he begins to depict people in everyday scenes. In 1694 he entered the staff of the Academy of Painting. He died in 1709 in Beijing.
Creativity
His paintings were distinguished by the presence of not only the depicted faces, but in combination with flowers, birds, buildings that create the background. All images are carefully loomed. Mostly used light colors, only to emphasize the volume applied dark ink. The most famous paintings are: " Amitabha ", "Day of Official Blessing", "Sagittarius".
