History
- In July 2009, the archaeological expedition of the Novokuznetsk State Pedagogical Institute, led by associate professor of the Department of History Yuri Viktorovich Shirin, carried out excavations in the area of Ust-Kabyrza. A burial was discovered in the rocky soil, in which the remains of a woman’s skeleton and rich burial equipment were found: an ornamented clay vessel, a bronze knife in a sheath, bronze and stone beads, a bronze mirror and a neck hryvnia. All these items indicate that the woman is from a noble and wealthy family. After an examination of the remains and objects found, the findings were transferred to the Tashtagol Museum.
- On April 29, 2010, the media reported that a resident of the village of Senza Kichi, a hunter Athanasius Kiskorov, saved a hominid from death in the Kabyrza River [2] [3] .
Ust-Kabyrzinsky rural settlement was established on December 17, 2004 in accordance with the Law of the Kemerovo Region No. 104-OZ [4] .
