Geographical position
The village of Verkh-Is of the Municipal Formation “ Nizhneturinsky City District ” of the Sverdlovsk Region is located 35 kilometers (on the highway 47 kilometers) northwest of the city of Nizhnyaya Tura , on the right bank of the Is river (left tributary of the Tura River), opposite the mouth of the Labazka River Isovskaya. In the vicinity of the village there is a botanical natural monument - Verkhneisovsky cedar [2] .
