Andrei Andreevich von Budberg ( June 12 ( 24 ), 1836 - December 11 ( 24 ), 1916 ) - Russian diplomat, baron, ambassador of the Russian Empire to the Württemberg court (1902-1906), coffer (1899-1916).

Biography

Since 1862 he entered the service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Empire .

In 1865, he was appointed as an official of special assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Empire under the governor of the Kingdom of Poland for foreign correspondence.

In 1874 he was appointed junior secretary of the Russian Embassy in Berlin, in 1875 he became the second, and in 1885 - the first secretary of the embassy.

In 1888, the rank of full state adviser was assigned, and in 1899 - privy councilor [2] .

Since 1894 he was appointed adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Empire.

From February 8, 1897 to 1902 he was the ambassador of the Russian Empire to the Saxe-Weimar House [3] .

From 1902 to 1906 he was Ambassador of the Russian Empire to the Württemberg Court .

He died on December 11, 1916 [4] .
