(765) Mattiaca ( lat. Mattiaca ) - an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 26, 1913 by the German astronomer Franz Kaiser at the Heidelberg Observatory and named after the ancient Roman name of the German city of Wiesbaden , whose native was the discoverer of the asteroid [1] .

The orbit of the asteroid Mattiak and its position in the solar system
Photometric observations conducted in 2011-2012 at the Organ Mesa Observatory allowed us to obtain the light curves of this body, from which it followed that the period of rotation of the asteroid around its axis is 3.4640 ± 0.0001 hours, with the brightness changing as it rotates 0. 09 ± 0.01 m [2] .
