Kapiton Mikhailovich Lakin ( March 20, 1930 - September 5, 1987 ) was a Soviet pharmacologist . Biography
Rod in the village of Vishenki, Vladimir region.
He graduated from the 2nd MMI (1953). He worked at the department of pharmacology alma mater.
Since 1970, at work in the MMSI N. A. Semashko : from 1971, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, then for Scientific Work [1] , and since 1974 the Rector and at the same time Head. Department of Pharmacology, the founder of which in connection with the organization of the medical faculty became [2] .
From 1981 he headed the head department of educational institutions of the USSR Ministry of Public Health .
He was the chairman of the Allied Problem Commission for Clinical Pharmacology, the chairman of the Scientific Council on Pharmacology and Pharmacy M3 of the RSFSR, the vice-chairman of the All-Union Scientific Society of Pharmacologists, the deputy head. editor of the journal "Pharmacology and Toxicology" and the editor of the redotdel "Pharmacology" BME. Member of the CPSU.
The founder of the scientific school on the problems of pharmacology [3] . He singled out clinical pharmacology into an independent scientific discipline according to the nomenclature of VAK [4] . Under his leadership, defended 5 doctoral and about 30 Ph.D. theses.
For a series of studies on plasma and cellular hemostasis, he was awarded the USSR State Prize and the USSR Council of Ministers Prize.
Author of over 250 articles. Monographs: “Anticoagulant and fibrinolytic agents” (jointly with E. I. Chazov ), “Biotransformation of drugs” (jointly with Yu. F. Krylov ), etc. [2] .
Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and medals.
He was buried in Moscow at Kuntsevo Cemetery [5] .
