Biography

The son of the secret adviser Lukyan Vasilyevich Boborykin (1696 — ca. 1772) and his second wife Darya Grigorievna.

He was educated at the boarding school of Pastor I. F. Litken. From 1755 he studied at the noble school at Moscow University , where he was the best student.
