Biography

She was born in 1929 in the village of Aravan (now - Aravan district of Osh region ) in a peasant family, ethnic Uzbek . She began her career in 1943 as an ordinary collective farmer of the Pakhta-Aral collective farm . In 1946 - 1952, she led the cotton link. In 1950 - 1952, every season, manually managed to collect 20-25 tons of raw cotton . Since 1952, she worked as chairman of the Aravan village council , and in 1957, of her own free will, was transferred to the position of foreman of the cotton-growing brigade. In 1957 - 1960 she was a student of a party school under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan in Frunze . In 1961 - 1972 she worked as a team leader on the collective farm of I.V. Stalin in the Aravan district . In 1962, she studied at the courses of machine operators at the regional association "Agricultural equipment" . In 1965 - 1966, her team received a high cotton crop . Productivity was 38.5 centners. And in 1966 she collected 108 tons of raw cotton on a cotton combine . Her merits were highly appreciated by the state . By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1966, she was awarded the high rank of Hero of Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Star “Hammer and Sickle” .

In order to increase her knowledge, S. Yusupova in 1967 entered the agronomical department of the Andijan Institute of Cotton Production in absentia and successfully graduated in 1972 . Yusupova S. in 1972 - 1977 worked as chairman of the collective farm . XXII Party Congress , which was considered the largest farm in the area. In 1977 - 1979, she held the position of deputy chairman of the Aravan district executive committee . In 1979-1991 , of her own free will, she worked as the foreman of the aforementioned collective farm . In 1991, as a result of agrarian reform, the collective farm was divided into 4 independent cooperatives . At the request of fellow villagers S. Yusupova headed one of the agricultural cooperatives “Pakhta-Aral”. In this position, she worked until 1995 . In those years when she worked as chairman of the collective farm . XXII Party Congress , special attention was paid to increasing productivity and profitability of agricultural production. As a result, in a short time, cotton yields across the collective farm rose from 27 to 40 centners. This favorably affected the increase in the economy of the economy. 8 seasonal and 5 permanent kindergartens , 8 field camps, 18 mineral fertilizer depots , 4 cowsheds , 16 nightmares, 16 shepherd houses, 2 schools were built. Settlements are improved, streets and roads are paved.

S. Yusupova was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR of the eighth and ninth convocations ( 1971 - 1980 ), was repeatedly elected as a deputy of the Osh regional , Aravan district and Aravan village councils , was a delegate to the III and IV All-Union Congresses of Collective Farmers and the VIII All-Union Congress of Women.

Yusupova S. died on May 11, 2003 . She was buried at the Ak-Mazar cemetery in the village of Aravan .
