History
- The station opened on April 25, 1985 at the end of the launch site of the Eglise de Pantin - Bobigny - Pablo Picasso. From September 6, 1992, a transfer to the first line of the new tram system in the Ile-de-France region is possible.
- The passenger traffic at the station at the entrance in 2011, according to RATP , amounted to 6 722 182 people [2] . In 2013, this figure increased to 7,135,266 passengers (38th place in terms of passenger input in the Paris Metro) [3] .
Perspectives
By 2030, it is planned to construct a transfer hub with a new line 15 , being built under the Grand Paris Express project. [4] [5] .
Track Development
The station consists of three tracks and two platforms. To the north of the station is a double-track reverse deadlock. On the south side, the station’s western path follows at first parallel to the Bobigny – Pantin – Raymond Keno line , and then turns into the territory of the Atelier de Bobigny , the only depot in Ильle-de-France that serves both metro trains ( line 5 ) and trams ( line T1 ) . Between this studio and the Bobigny-Pantin-Raymond Keno station, the construction of the Bobigny-La Foley station is planned.
