History
The village of Petropavlovka was founded in 1899 . According to 1929, there were 104 households in Petropavlovka and 561 people lived (mainly Belarusians ). The school functioned. Administratively, the village was the center of the Peter and Paul village council of the Aban district of the Kansky district of the Siberian region [2] .
Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of the district, on the left bank of the Aban River, about 9 km (in a straight line) east-southeast (ESE) from the village of Aban , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 265 meters above sea level [3] .
