TERYT

TERYT ( Krajowy Rejestr Urzędowy Podziału Terytorialnego Kraju ) is the official state register of territorial division in Poland , maintained by the Main Statistical Office - Polish. Główny Urząd Statystyczny (GUS) ).

TERYT was introduced by decree of the Council of Ministers of December 25, 1998 published in the Bulletin of Laws ( Polish. Dziennik Ustaw ) No. 157 p. 1031. It contains the following systems:

  • identifiers and names of units of administrative division TERC10
  • identifiers and location names SIMC 10
  • statistical districts and registration districts BREC10
  • targeted identification of streets, real estate, buildings and apartments NOBC10.

TERYT registry identifiers are a mandatory standard for territorial identification for administrations conducting state registries, are used in state statistics, and also provide the ability to integrate data.

The registry is a vowel. The data from it is provided by the voivodship statistical offices and the State Statistical Office.
