TERYT ( Krajowy Rejestr Urzędowy Podziału Terytorialnego Kraju ) is the official state register of territorial division in Poland , maintained by the Main Statistical Office - Polish. Główny Urząd Statystyczny (GUS) ).
TERYT was introduced by decree of the Council of Ministers of December 25, 1998 published in the Bulletin of Laws ( Polish. Dziennik Ustaw ) No. 157 p. 1031. It contains the following systems:
- identifiers and names of units of administrative division TERC10
- identifiers and location names SIMC 10
- statistical districts and registration districts BREC10
- targeted identification of streets, real estate, buildings and apartments NOBC10.
TERYT registry identifiers are a mandatory standard for territorial identification for administrations conducting state registries, are used in state statistics, and also provide the ability to integrate data.
The registry is a vowel. The data from it is provided by the voivodship statistical offices and the State Statistical Office.
