Geographical position
The village of Retneva of the Irbit Municipal Formation is located 28 kilometers (31 kilometers along the highway) west-south-west of the city of Irbit , mainly on the right bank of the Bobrovka River (left tributary of the Irbit River). The Artyomovsky – Irbit highway passes through the village, and 4 km east-southeast is the Khudyakovo railway station of the Sverdlovsk railway [2] .
History
By the decision of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Executive Committee No. 238-b of April 1, 1977, the village of Retneva and the village of Vandysheva were merged into the village of Retneva of the Retnevsky Village Council [3] .
