Pyotr Sergeyevich Gluboky (born January 9, 1947 , the village of Gordienki , Stalingrad Region ) is a Russian opera singer ( bass ), vocal teacher, professor at the Moscow Conservatory . People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2002). Member of the Union of Theater Workers [1] .

Biography
Born in the village of Gordienki, Stalingrad Region (currently - Kotovsky District, Volgograd Region ). He entered the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Hugo Tits . At the end of the conservatory in 1973, he trained at the Bolshoi Theater , then was included in his opera company. He made his debut on stage in the role in 1972 in the role of Bartolo from the opera The Barber of Seville of Russia [1] .
As a soloist of the Bolshoi Theater he performed more than 60 parts [2] . Including his repertoire included the roles of Sobakin in “The Tsar’s Bride ” by Rimsky-Korsakov , Leporello in “The Stone Guest ” by Dargomyzhsky , Pimen in “ Boris Godunov ” by Mussorgsky , in Verdi's operas as the Grand Inquisitor in “ Don Carlos ”, and Sparafoigtoil in “ Rarafoigtoil ” ”And Ferrando in“ Troubadour ”, Don Alfonso in“ All Women Do It ”by Mozart, in Prokofiev’s operas - Mendoza in“ Betrothal in a Monastery ”, Marshal Berthier in“ War and Peace ” [1] [2] .
In addition to working in the theater, Peter Gluboky performs in concerts, performing about 500 works of domestic and foreign performers. The most richly represented in his repertoire is the work of Mikhail Glinka. Many famous performers became partners of the singer, including Elena Obraztsova , Tamara Milashkina , Galina Vishnevskaya , Tamara Sinyavskaya , Galina Oleinichenko , Ivan Kozlovsky , Evgeny Nesterenko , Mark Reshetin , Alexander Ognivtsev , Vladimir Atlantov and Arthur Eisen . He worked with conductors Boris Khaykin , Eugene Svetlanov , Mstislav Rostropovich , Yuri Temirkanov , Vladimir Fedoseev and Fuat Mansurov [1] .
The singing of Peter the Deep is distinguished by a high performing culture, soft timbre and special beauty. As an actor, he interprets the roles in his own way, giving the character characters a new interpretation [1] .
Teaching activities
He began teaching in 1972 at the Musical College at the Moscow Conservatory . Then, since 1988, he began working with students of the Gnesins State Music and Pedagogical Institute . In 1992, he was invited to the Moscow Conservatory, where in 2002 he was awarded the title of professor [1] .
After 1991, he has been actively teaching abroad: he taught master classes in China, South Korea, Malta and Cyprus [1] .
