Vaugirard ( Fr. Vaugirard ) - station of the line 12 of the Paris Metro , located in the 15th district of Paris . It is named after the street of the same name ( French: Rue de Vaugirard ) and the quarter of the 15th district in which the station is located. In walking distance from the station are the administration of the XVth arrondissement of Paris and the church of Saint-Lambert de Vaugirard.

History
- The station was opened on November 5, 1910 as part of the first launch site of the then North-South line A of the Paris Metro line 12, Port de Versailles - Notre Dame de Loretta .
- According to the RATP , the passenger traffic at the station at the entrance in 2013 amounted to 3910263 people (129th place in terms of passenger traffic in the Paris metro) [2] .

The station was built according to a typical Parisian design with the original design in the style of the North-South company.
