Chetyrkina - a village abolished in 1962 in the southern part of the Sverdlovsk region , in the Kamensky urban district . It was resettled in 1960 as one of the most affected by the Kyshtym accident at the Mayak chemical plant in the city of Ozersk .

The village was located on the northern shore of Lake Big Sungul .
History
The name Chetyrkino from the words of the head. even - a small measure, head. ir is the earth [1] .
Until 1923, it belonged to the Shcherbakov volost of the Kamyshlovsky district of the Perm province. In 1928, Chetyrkina was a member of the Rybinkovsky Village Council of the Kamensky District of the Shadrinsky District of the Ural Region . [2]
On February 21, 1951, by the decision of the regional executive committee No. 127, the settlement of Chetyrkin was assigned from the Rybnikovsky village council to the Smolinsky village council [3] .
A number of settlements of the region - the villages of Chetyrkina, Tygish, Bogatenkova, Rybnikovskoe suffered from the activities of the Mayak PA in 1957. In this regard, on the territory of the urban district carried out constant radiation monitoring [4] .
In 1960, the village was demolished, and the population was resettled in Big Brusyany.
On May 14, 1962, by the decision of the regional executive committee No. 378, the village of Chetyrkina was excluded from the list of registration of settlements as ceased to exist [3] .
At present, all the buildings of the village are demolished as part of the elimination of the consequences, and the Chetyrkina tract is located on the site of the village [5] .
On October 8, 2016, a memorial memorial to the disappeared village was opened [6] .
Population
- According to 1904, there are 67 households with a population of 367 people (173 men, 194 women), all Russians [7] .
- In 1926, there were 95 yards in the village with a population of 490 people [2] .
- At the time of settlement, 92 families lived in the village.
