Biography

Under the year 1159, the chronicle notes that the former Zvenigorod prince Ivan Rostislavich Berladnik , who was in Transnistria , concluded a military alliance with Bashkord, went to the “Podunay lands”, robbed them and went to the Galician cities Kuchelmina and Ushytsa, “dirty man” Galician fishermen. He, however, did not allow Bashkord to rob these towns, as a result of which "... enraged kovoltsy, ehasha from Ivan." Bashkord went over to the side of Prince Izyaslav Davydovich , with whom he retreated from besieged Belgorod to Yuryev.

Family and children

In 1151, in the battle of Prince Yuri Dolgoruky with Prince Izyaslav Mstislavich , Prince Vladimir of Chernigov was killed at the River Ruth , his wife fled to the Polovtsy and married their khan Bashkord [1] . She was the daughter of Vsevolod Gorodensky .
