Geography
The village is located in the south-eastern part of the Altai Territory, on the banks of the Tishka River (a tributary of the Peschanaya ), at a distance of about 41 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west-south-west (WSW) from the village of Altai , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 576 meters above sea level [2] . The climate is temperate continental with warm summers and moderately frosty snowy winters. The average temperature in January is -16.8ºС, in July - + 19.2ºС. The annual rainfall is 937 mm [3] .
