Mikhail Gorshkov (Mihhail Gorškov or Mikhail Gorshkow; 1923 - 2013 ) - German Nazi criminal [1] [2] [3] of Russian origin, accused of complicity in the massacres of Jews in Slutsk .

Born in 1923 [4] in the Republic of Estonia . According to the prosecution, Mikhail Gorshkov served as a translator in the Gestapo on the territory of the BSSR , where he was an accomplice in the massacres of Jews in the Slutsk ghetto . After the war he emigrated from Europe to the USA , where in 1963 he naturalized and received American citizenship. He was accused by the US Department of Justice and deprived of American citizenship for providing false information about his participation in the Second World War [5] [6] .
In 2002, he returned to Estonia, where Estonian Attorney General Juri Pihl opened a case on the participation of Mikhail Gorshkov in the massacres of Jews in Slutsk. In October 2011, the investigation was closed due to inconclusive evidence. According to the Office of the Attorney General of Estonia, there is a possibility that several people with the surname Gorshkov collaborated with the Nazis.
He died in 2013 in Estonia.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center placed Mikhail Gorshkov in ninth place on the list of the most wanted Nazi criminals [7] .
