Biography
Born March 22, 1962 in the village of Yurkivtsi, Zastavnivskyi district , Chernivtsi region. After returning from the army, he played for the rubber shoe factory team. This team managed to win the championship of the Chernivtsi region .
At the end of the 1983 season, Vasily invited her then coach Alexander Pavlenko to the Chernivtsi “Bukovina”. In 1985, Vasily left Bukovina before finishing the championship. As the footballer himself recalled:
I was accused of “landing”, so to speak. In fact, I had a knee injury in which fluid was collected. Once during a workout, I said that I can’t do it, and I have to heal. To which I was told, they say, I avoid training. I was offended and decided not to play for the Chernivtsi team anymore [1]
.
A new season 1986 Zadorozhniak began in Kherson " Crystal ", which also played in the Second League of the USSR . In “Crystal” Vasily spent two successful seasons and was the captain of the Kherson team.
On the eve of the 1988 season, the new coach of Kherson "Crystal" Pavel Sadyrin invited him to stay in his team and play for another year, and then go with him to the titled club, but Zadorozhniak refused. Subsequently, Pavel Fedorovich headed the Moscow CSKA and made this team the champion of the USSR.
When Sadyrin arrived in Kherson, I was 26 years old. This, I think, is the heyday of a football player. Therefore, I think I could gain a foothold in the army club. If I had to start a sporting life again, I would definitely obey Sadyrin, - Vasily subsequently noted [1]
.
In addition, Vasiliev was interested in Nikolaev “ Shipbuilder ”, Simferopol “ Tavria ”, and even the coach of the team of the major union league “ Metalist ” (Kharkov) Yevgeny Lemeshko , but the player returned to his native “Bukovina” and went with “Bukovina” to a training camp in Romania , after which I received an offer to remain in the Chernivtsi team. In the same season of 1988, Bukovina became the winner of the Ukrainian SSR championship .
Two years later, according to the results of the 1990 season, Chernivtsi “Bukovina” won the western zone of the Second League and managed to win a ticket to the first Allied League. Vasily made a significant contribution to the success of Chernivtsi, in that season he scored ten goals. In the debut season (the last in the union championship) in the first league , Bukovina took fifth, as for a beginner. After the collapse of the USSR, “Bukovina” was included in the newly created Premier League of Ukraine , where Zadorozhnyak made his debut on March 7, 1992 in a match against Ternopil “ Niva ” (2: 1). In total, that season spent 13 matches and scored three goals in the elite Ukrainian division.
In 1993, Zadorozhnyak invited the Bulgarian Haskovo team, but Vasily played there only two games for the Bulgarian Cup , after which he left the club because of the conflict. In the second half of 1993 he played in the club " Lada " (Chernivtsi) in the amateur championship of Ukraine . On the eve of the games of the second round of the 1993/94 championship, Vasily Zadorozhnyak returned to Bukovina. However, on May 25, 1994, in a home game against Chernivtsi Zaporizhzhya Metallurg , he was seriously injured and could not help the team save a place in the elite. In general, he spent 33 matches in the Premier League of Ukraine and scored 7 goals.
Returning to the field in October 1994, the player continued to play for the club in the first league , and also in November held two games for Lada (Chernivtsi), who played in the third league . He played in Bukovina until September 1995, after which he again left the team due to the conflict. As the footballer said:
In the break of the match “Bukovina” - “Rock” I was accused of the fact that I supposedly did not play tight with my opponents. It was insulting, and I got excited: in five minutes I left Bukovina. After that, he did not leave home for two days. Of course, there were phone calls, they say we are counting on you, come back, but I did not agree. And so my career at Bukovina ended [1]
